CALCULATING AREAS FOR RETAINING WALL BLOCKS

It's easy to follow these three steps to calculate the number of blocks you will need for your retaining wall.

Step 1

The length of the wall divided by the length of the block equals the number of blocks in one row.

Step 2

The height of the wall divided by the height of the block equals the number of rows in the wall.

Step 3

The number of blocks per row multiplied by the number of rows in the wall equals the total number of blocks.

NB:

To calculate the total wall height: add buried block plus above ground wall height.
